Mallakastra Routes
The main objective of the project is the socio-economic development of Mallakastër, the valorization and promotion of cultural heritage in the region. New routes will attract tourists and visitors to come and visit interesting cultural and natural points.

Each route can be walked or cycled, and links cultural monuments with the natural landscape around them.
I Bylis Antiquity
A full-day circular route through the Vjosa Valley to the Illyrian cities of Bylis and Nikaia, combining archaeology, village heritage and wild river landscapes.

II Holy Trace
A full-day route from Ballsh to Cerrilë, linking ancient oaks, the Lumara lakes and the sacred rock of the Holy Trace with its legendary footprint.

III Cfir Castle
A half-day route from the early Christian basilica of Ballsh, past the ancient oaks of Kalenjë, up to the hilltop fortress of Cfir.

IV Kapaj Waterfall
A route through Mallakastër past a striking geological unconformity, the thermal springs of Povla and the Tekke of Baba Selman, ending at the Kapaj Waterfall.
